Every Crisis Has a Silver Lining

We don't tend to be as aware or engaged when we're comfortable

Anyone who lives long enough will eventually find themselves living through a time of crisis.

Not many of us would necessarily consider this to be a desirable thing but there’s a silver lining that comes along with the dark clouds that accompany any crisis.

A serious disturbance of our routine lives is one of the few things guaranteed to snap us out of autopilot mode and into a sense of increased awareness and engagement.

That’s something we rarely do when we’re comfortable.

A genuine crisis represents an opportunity for anyone who is actively working to create a better world.

That’s when we’re more likely to be seen and heard as we demonstrate a more positive way forward that others may not have seen.

The beauty of this solution is that it can take millions of different forms.

Being a problem-solver only requires that we help others see a better way forward.

Stop complaining.

Stop blaming.

Give yourself permission to create something better instead.

You’ll be happier and wiser for doing so.

Even if those solutions aren’t perfectly finished, they’re still moving away from fear and toward a more positive future.

The goal is to empower others by pointing out a way that leads individuals out of fear and into any number of areas in which they can find peace and purpose.

It also frees us from the mentality that we are dependent upon experts to tell us what to do in every instance.
